My family is currently residing in beautiful East Tennessee. I say currently because we are learning that life is not about a comfortable destination but about the exciting journey.
Our home is usually slightly messy, but always decorated. A creative project is always lying around half finished. Books are scattered everywhere and we own tons of them. You will find me on any given day drinking chai or coffee, reading a book to a boy, telling someone to study or work math problems, texting sweet love words to my man, and dreaming about projects to create or begin.
I love vintage things, nature, photography, reading and writing words, playing the piano, painting, and planning fun things for our family. I adore babies. I am an introvert and I greatly enjoy how the technology that I once so firmly resisted is bringing women all over the world together to encourage one another. I love that it allows us to know we are not alone in living this hard, but beautiful, life. I believe if you are joining me in this space then I best be REAL with you and I consider you a friend.
Please join me as I reflect on the things that are in my heart and as I share our story as God writes it. I am striving to release my hopes for perfection and embrace grace. I pray you'll be encouraged to do the same.
